Our product reliability was put to the test in October 2007, when 3,200 miners were trapped one mile underground for over 28 hours. Fortunately many of the miners were wearing the MSi LED Mine Cap Lamp. As hundreds of miners emerged it was clear that their LED cap lamps had lasted the duration “We were not too worried because we had our lights. We were singing, speaking to each other to pass the time,” one miner said. Through stringent R&D, MSI's engineers improved battery life and were able to provide an LED product that actually saved lives.
